Scholarships

CBSF is providing funding for educational and vocational advancement to students who would otherwise not be able to afford or access these opportunities. Schoolchildren will have a greater educational experience with access to technology, positioning them to enter into university or trade school. By providing skilled trade and advanced education, these individuals will be able to live well above the poverty line, and help contribute to the country’s efforts to bolster their economy.

CBSF will provide $1000 scholarships for X students, at the rate of X/year to attend XXX schools. To be selected for the scholarship, students attending XXX High SchooL(S) must have an XXX gpa, and an expressed interest in attending UNI OR TRADE SCHOOL. Household income thresholds must be below XXXXX. While attending UNI OR TRADE SCHOOL the student must maintain a gpa of XXXX.

Our program director, Appo Lubamba oversees the selection and maintenance of qualifying students, and the distribution of funds to the uni or vocational school on behalf of each recipient. Scholars are required to provide a copy of their grades each semester, demonstrating maintenance of the eligibility criteria.
